As you know I have twin 36 year old sons. One of them is going back to UNCG this semester and will need probably two semesters to complete his degree. He previously attended there as an instate student, which he was and is. He has lived in this state since 2008, is a registered voter and has voted in this state and has never lived anywhere else. He has lived in no other state since 2008, and now a computer is saying he’s out of state. It’s about an $8000 a semester difference and so it’s not a small thing.

And that’s right a computer is responsible. He has talked to his counselor and she said that he obviously was instate and she did what she could but basically he had to get the computer to change its mind. He called the admissions office and even went in with proof of his NC residency and citizenship and they agreed but they said there was nothing they could do to override the computer’s decision. I think this is beyond stupid and one would think that an institution of higher learning would have the ability to correct obvious mistakes. Apparently not so.

Unfortunately I’m not admitted in this state because I had no intention of practicing law here and therefore saw no need to incur the expense and requirements. If I was I would go to the University President and tell him to either override his dumbass computer or I would sue him personally as well as the university and just for shits and giggles throw in a count of depriving my son of his rights. As a citizen of NC he is entitled to all the rights and privileges that come with that status including the right to attend a NC university at instate tuition prices.

I suggested he go to a legal aid clinic and get them to do what I said above. Alternatively I suggested that he go to one of those action news programs and get them to ask the university president on camera, “who runs this university, you or some computer?” I guarantee on camera he would change his tune. Most likely he would do the right thing to avoid being on camera looking like an idiot. I also told him to contact his local state representative.

I haven’t heard anything from him today so I guess things must be moving in the right direction.

I believe it is Matt Gaetz, but it could be several others, who have said that a law needs to be passed that places the venue for any criminal case involving a senator or congressman or president or vice president, to be in the place that person resides. That would eliminate the DC swamp bias.

I know one of you listened to Bongino today and I enjoyed most of his points but I think that once again you can know too much and miss the obvious. His main point was that under White House and Secret Service protocols Hunter could never get through to Magoo without it going through many protocols and arrangements.

Now here’s what I think he completely missed or ignored. Magoo had at least six private emails that were used to carry out his pay to play scheme. Please tell me how hard it would be for Magoo and Hunter to have burner phones so that when Hunter called, Magoo would know who it was and take the call. Also supposedly several of the calls were initiated by Magoo so with or without a private phone it could easily be arranged. Dan should know better. I guess if you have a hammer everything looks like a nail.

As I mentioned to one of you earlier, the indictment today was just part of the same old tired playbook. Magoo and the mafia get exposed and destroyed yesterday. Look over here at this shiny new object. I will comment further maybe tomorrow but the charges look pretty much out to lunch.

As I told one of you, I’m not going to rant about Devon until later in the week when the transcript is released. However I will say this. First until the transcript is available we don’t know if Devon said they only discussed the weather.

More importantly, it’s what was being discussed before the phone call that matters. Were they discussing some influence peddling scheme and asked Hunter to prove he had instant access to Magoo? I’m hoping that the republicans were smart enough to nail it down, but we won’t know until we can see for ourselves.

If you remember I said I didn’t understand how a grand jury in DC could indict Trump for actions in Florida. And it turns out that Levin provided the information to say my hunch was right. Under the DOJ standards that is not possible. So hurray for my intuition.

It just occurred to me how ridiculous their plan is. If this section of the river is declared off limits, wouldn’t that mean that illegals couldn’t use it either? They actually walk through and destroy mussel habitat!

I promise you that this will be about mussels, which I love. But first I just watched most of the Trump rally in Eerie Pennsylvania. He actually talked from 6 to 7:40 or so and I didn’t know about it until around 6:30 and watched the rest. Now again I didn’t see the beginning which I’m sure covered the DOJ persecution but the rest was on point talking about what he did before and how he will do it again. There was the perfect mixture of lightheartedness and deadly seriousness. I think he’s finally gotten away from 2020, unless it was in the first thirty minutes, and focused on 2024. If he stays on message he will win.

Now as I’m sure you know Abbot is putting a floating buoy barrier in the Rio Grande to protect Texas’ border from illegal immigration. Magoo and his morons are suing to stop him claiming that he didn’t get permission from them or something. Now if and when the case makes it to the Supremes, I believe that Texas will prevail because under the Constitution they have the right to protect their borders if the feds aren’t doing it. And I think Magoo and the morons think so also.

They are now trying to fast track some regulations that would declare the section of the river where the buoys are a protected space for a couple of endangered freshwater mussels species. First I have never eaten a freshwater mussel and could care less about them. I am sick and tired of the left environmental wackos trying to stop progress because some creature no one ever heard of might be affected.

Second, mussels are filter feeders like oysters and clams and scallops. They attach themselves to a rock or something similar and then just filter. If you’ve ever seen videos of oyster farming, they put rods in the water and the oysters attach themselves and when they are grown they pull up the rods and harvest the oysters. They don’t swim around and so buoys would have no negative impact. In fact I think they might have a positive impact. My guess is that in two or three years mussels would be attaching themselves to the buoys and prospering. Think barnacles.

Just more desperation from these idiots.

I was listening to him today and he had an interesting take on what’s going to happen. His take is that Magoo will withdraw from the presidential race and then pardon Hunter and all the rest of the Magoo mafia, including himself because if he’s not running, what are you going to do about it? He’s a lame duck and can give a big fu to all of us and sail away into lala land, where he already resides, without a care in the world and with potentially hundreds of millions of dollars in ill gotten gains.

I think that’s a likely scenario. I know KJP said otherwise today, but when has she ever told the truth.

Think about it. The Dems don’t want Magoo and this would give them another chance to have their cake and eat it too.

Today marks the day that this planet has been forced to endure my stupidity for three quarters of a century. Yes I have now been dumbing down the planet for 75 years And guess what? I intend to keep doing it. I don’t know if I can complete the last quarter but am pretty sure I can make it to 90. With medical advances, who knows where it goes but one thing is for sure. I’ll continue to rant nonsense until I lose my mental acuity.
