Yesterday I wrote a pretty long rant and then when I went to publish it the hosting server apparently went down and my site was unavailable for all of last night. It was back up this morning.
Unfortunately a lot of what I said has now become somewhat common. So here’s a quick summary of the two main points from last night.
First, all the so-called experts [and here’s a little humor from my youth which wasn’t in yesterday’s missing rant I am sorry to say I can’t remember whether it was in Boys’ Life or Playboy — yeah they’re pretty similar — but the definition of an expert was as follows. X represents an unknown and spurt is a drip under pressure, therefore an expert is an unknown drip under pressure.] are revising their projections daily and instead of admitting that their models were complete unadulterated bullshit, they are trying to take credit for reductions by claiming that it’s all because of their social distancing mandates. I’ll have more on this below in my addendum for today, but again they have no evidence whatsoever that social distancing has had any affect on the spread of the virus. They have no way of knowing what would have happened if we continued life as usual like we do every year with the common flu. They keep telling us that this virus is much more contagious and lethal than the common flu. They are making it up and guessing and so far the numbers don’t support them at all.
