While I generally think that he is one of the better libs on the Five, he just did the mindless bs that I despise. He said we have to do something because there have been 900 mass shootings since Sandy Hook. Sandy Hook occurred ten years ago and mass shootings are generally considered incidents involving four or more either deaths or woundings. I’m not sure which and it probably varies from site to site but here’s the point. This is a country of 330 million people and even if I use 10 as the average per incident that’s 900 people a year. How is this an epidemic? And remember that most of these are gang wars etc. And there’s no law you can pass that will stop these gangbangers from getting and using illegal guns. They don’t care about laws.

It’s time to stop knee jerk unfounded hysteria and I would note that no one on the Five called him out.
