Mainly because I haven’t ranted recently, mainly because nothing really new is happening. It’s all this judge or that thinks they’re the president. That nonsense will be resolved in the near future in favor of Trump.

So what’s this rant about. Well tonight I heard that Iran is essentially at the stage where they could produce a nuclear weapon now. And I have seen that Iran has put its nuclear facilities farther underground than can be reached and destroyed by a bunker buster bomb. Okay, my thought is that maybe true but what if we dropped one bbbomb and then twenty minutes later dropped a second and then etc. I’m pretty sure that we would destroy it and certainly prevent them from ever seeing the surface again. It does you no good to have a capability that you can’t access! Just thought.

This idiot needs to keep his mouth shut. He is only concerned with his legacy and his view of the judiciary. Remember this is the same idiot who said there are no Republican judges and no Dem judges. If there is anything that has been proven more true, it’s that there are political judges. Roberts thinks that judges should not be impeached and instead just maybe overturned on appeal.

First, impeachment is the remedy provided in the Constitution. And second the balances and checks in the Constitution guarantee that no one branch is supreme. Here’s my question. Supposed this asshole district court judge decided to enjoin Trump from attacking the Houthis. Does Roberts really believe that Trump would have to appeal that up to the Supreme Court before he could act? I don’t even think he’s that stupid. The president has many powers invested in him by the constitution and no judge can deign to take those powers unto himself.

Roberts needs to pay more attention to his role under the constitution and less to trying cement some legacy. I predict he will be considered a poor Chief Justice.

As you know this is something that I know a lot about. Some stupid judge held that Trump can’t revoke the clearances of the attorneys in Perkins Coie. He is an idiot. What’s classified and who has access to it is under the Constitution the sole discretion of the president. No judge has any authority to overrule the president. This is a case where I would counsel Trump to ignore the outright nonsense of a judge. No judge can tell the president who to trust with confidential information. Just ignore it and keep them out of our security information and federal buildings. Let this idiot try to enforce his mandate. It has to stop with these district court judges trying to usurp the constitutional power of the president. Let the left try to get the Supremes to agree with their overreach.

Today for the second time he came out for greatly expanding the department of education and his reason was totally a lie. First I usually prefer him as the Dem on the Five because he is usually semi rational and clearly preferable to Tarlov, but he is totally bat shit crazy on this issue. His supposed premise is that because 90+% of education is covered by state and local government and our schools are failing, it must mean that we need more federal intervention to improve our schools.

The problem is that he ignores that the reason for our failing schools is because the federal government is dictating what must be taught in schools. All the money from the federal government comes with strings attached that require teaching DEI and 1619 and all the other leftist nonsense and not the 3 R’s. No child left behind and other nonsense must be taught or else you will be investigated and sued by the DOE. He is so surprisingly wrong on this subject and I was very disappointed that no one called him out on it. Sad!

Trump said yesterday that he couldn’t rule out the possibility of a recession this year and today Wall Street lost its mind. Although I think the reason is uncertainty over the effects tariffs will have on the economy. Which by the way is in keeping with my view that the markets are just legalized gambling. People just make guesses about what might happen.

But that’s not the reason for this rant. I heard something on the Will Cain Show today while I was driving that I haven’t seen anywhere else and it makes perfect sense and I should have thought about it but was too busy thinking about tariffs also. Listen GDP includes government spending as well as private sector spending. Thus with DOGE and Trump removing employees and cutting contracts and grants this will shrink GDP in the near term until all the new manufacturing comes on line and the private sector picks up the slack left by the government. It makes sense and has nothing to do with tariffs.

Just a thought.

Back in the early sixties it was a given that education in the South was subpar to the rest of the country. And maybe it was true, but as I ranted about several times previously I was considered to be inferior coming from Florida to Anchorage and that was totally false. I won’t repeat the facts. (And as an aside, I was maybe the first boy to be put in the girls locker room. When I went to my first gym class in Anchorage. Apparently they confused Dennis with Denise and I got assigned to girls PE.) That’s not the purpose of this rant. The purpose is that tonight on the Fox Weekend show when the issue came up of where you should send your kids to get a real education, everyone said go south. I believe that Louisiana is now the leading state in education in the country. And I would certainly send my kids to a school in Florida or Alabama or Louisiana or Mississippi rather than anywhere in the north or west. They will be taught the 3 R’s not CRT or 1619 or DEI.

I used to think that a bright kid could overcome poor educations because they were bright enough to see through it. However, I don’t think that they can overcome the indoctrination of the leftist teacher unions. I was bored but at least learned real things. Today the brightest aren’t even taught real things. We are sacrificing a generation of intelligent minds to woke nonsense. This has to end. We need our best and brightest to actually be fully educated and to use that education to improve our country. And yes we have many brilliant computer individuals but they learned on their own from the internet. Not from our schools!

The northern and western states have denigrated our education system and if you’re there either send your kids to a private school or move.

Before I get to the point of this rant, let me comment on last night’s speech. It was incredible but I didn’t see the need to comment. You could see anything I could possibly say everywhere today. The Dems totally crashed. Maybe what I can add is that I think last night was the death knell of the Dem party. They have nothing and represent nothing that the vast majority of this country wants.

Now for all of you who think the Supremes decision today was a serious setback for Trump, it wasn’t. I’m not going to get into the weeds because it would be meaningless to most if not all of you. Suffice it to say that it was a procedural decision. It was not a decision on the merits of Trump’s shutting down USAID. All it did was send it back to the district court with very specific instructions that he would have to consider every proposed payment in light of who would actually be irreparably harmed by paying or not paying. And I’m not sure if you know, but the money at issue is for work that has allegedly already been performed.

And now DOJ can file for a writ of mandamus for the Supremes to take the case on the merits and put an end to the nonsense. Alito burned them in his dissent and I’m sure that either Roberts or Barret will come to their senses and stop the nonsense of one unelected judge taking over the Executive Branch.

And another thing I saw today was that another leftist judge ordered the reinstatement of probationary employees. As I said before, these are people who can be fired for any or no reason except for some prohibited reason like race and that was not at issue in the case. They just were cutting the size of the government period.

Congress needs to pass legislation that limits the jurisdiction of district court judges and if they don’t then the Supremes have to do it and Alito strongly indicated that he was on board.

The real difference between his first term and now is that not only does he now understand the swamp and recognize his true allies ( and his cabinet is the best in my lifetime) but his ego is now such that he doesn’t feel the need to be the only voice in the room. Look he has welcomed Elon in to the cabinet meeting and the Oval Office and let him speak. He’s not worried about having to try to be the only big dog in the room.

He had no problem with Vance calling out Z in the press conference. I can’t imagine him having let Pence do that or Pence even thinking that he could. He’s comfortable in his own skin and doesn’t feel the need try to constantly be the center of attention. I like it.
