Let me explain just how stupid the leftists in California are. They want to do all kinds of stupid things in the name of global warming and CO2 emissions. Guess what? The wildfires are emitting hundreds of times more CO2 than all the bullshit they are trying to prohibit. Forest for the trees!

I was looking forward to watching the premiere of the new Hollywood Squares tonight but it wasn’t on. Now Whitney Cummings was going to be one of the squares and I really enjoy her comedy. However, her home was one of the homes destroyed in the fire, and I believe that they didn’t have the heart to put on show with people whose homes were destroyed laughing it up.

I saw today that many of the elites are turning on the leftist politicians who cost them their homes. They thought that they were above all the problems that affected all us normals. They thought that they were special. Smarter, richer and privileged. They were insulated from illegal alien crime and inflation and fly private jets and have whatever appliances and cars etc that they know are good. However, they forgot that they are not above Mother Nature!

The history of the advancement of the human species is a history of harnessing the power of nature and recognizing where we couldn’t. Southern California is basically a desert. Always has been and always will be regardless of your view of the climate change hoax. And there have always been wildfires given the make up of the landscape. We decided to develop it because of its beauty and weather. When we did, we took steps to assure that we had water to support it, and as I have said many times before and as Trump has emphasized, there is plenty of water if it is harvested and channeled to the places that need it. And we did it until the leftists took over the asylum and decided that stupid posturing was more important than reality. They decided that channeling vast amounts of fresh water into the ocean was more important because it might save an insignificant species of fish and that was more important than people. These are sick idiots.

And now the leftist elites have learned that Mother Nature doesn’t give a damn about how special they think they are. Build in a known wildfire area and fail to engage in forest management and then top it off by denying water to the area and see just how special you are!

The LA fires are a tragedy that could have been easily avoided as I have ranted about before. That’s not the purpose of this rant.

My take is maybe the Hollywood elite have learned their lessons. As pointed out by Nikki Glazer at the Golden Globes, they no longer have any influence in elections. But more importantly, they have now seen the results of their idiotic support of stupid policies. Their mansions have been burnt to the ground and it’s because of their stupid support of woke nonsense. Maybe they will wake up and quit backing ignorant leftists. When you lose your house because there was no water in the hydrants, maybe you will wake up to reality and vote for competence.

I have been to LA and the places that are burning and they are magnificent and gone because of stupidity. WAKE UP!

I tried to resist but I couldn’t. Last Saturday my gators lost at Kentucky 106 – 100 and dropped from 6 to 8 in the country. Tonight they beat, now former No. 1 Tennessee, the only remaining unbeaten team in the NCAA , by 30 points in Gainesville. That’s amazing!

The thing that one of the announcers said is undoubtedly true. This year it will be harder to win the SEC championship than it will be to win the NCAA. And there will be at least ten SEC teams in the dance. It is undeniably the best basketball conference in the country.

That’s the question one of you asked about Trump on Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal. My answer is both. Certainly with respect to Greenland, he is serious about acquiring it or at least establishing a very strong relationship to the exclusion of Russia and China. It is very important from a strategic national security perspective. It gives us effective control over the arctic and a quick strike capability against Russia and China. And it is very rich in mineral resources. And they are not happy with the way Denmark is treating them.

Don Jr. went there today and got a hero’s welcome. I think they’re actually eager to if not be acquired form a strong protective relationship.

With respect to Canada, I think it’s more posturing to get better trade and border deals. He already got Turdeau to resign and and it appears that the person who will win his place is a populist MCGA person.

The Panama issue is more complicated. When Carter gave it away, there were two treaties signed. One that gave it to Panama and a second one that gave the US the right to assure in perpetuity that the canal would remain open, secure and neutral. Right now China controls the ports at both ends of the canal and Panama signed a ‘belt and road’ agreement. So Trump is right to be concerned and I think while he is firing an opening shot over the bow, he will seriously consider military intervention if Panama takes actions detrimental to our national security interests and our economic interests.

Now on a lighter note and I may have mentioned this before but 20+ years ago Dennis Miller had a very creative idea on how to secure our southern border. We buy Mexico and then when the illegals say they want to come to the US you say you’re already here and then we continue buying up the countries all the way down to Panama and then there is only a very small border left to protect.

She is on ozempic. Did you see the picture of her getting the presidential medal? Her fat ass was almost anorexic. That didn’t happen because she gave up her box Chardonnay and exercised. It’s a sad day for her trying to remain relevant.

He is as he always has been a thin skinned ignorant bully without a single original thought in his teeny tiny brain. Now that he’s been shown the door by not only his party but by the American people, he is lashing out in some ignorant attempt to rehabilitate his legacy as the worst president in our memory.

He is issuing all kinds of EO’s to try to hamstring Trump from carrying out his mandate and obliterating everything Magoo has done. Today he issued an order banning drilling on almost all of our offshore oil reserves. Now I have seen some people say today that Trump can’t undo this nonsense on day one with his own order. I don’t believe that is true. I don’t understand why Trump can’t issue an order canceling Magoo’s order immediately.

Magoo is claiming that he is doing all this crap because it’s necessary to save the world from climate change, but ask yourself why he didn’t do this earlier in his administration if it was so important. Because he knows that his present actions are total bs designed to hamper Trump and he knows if had done them sooner, it would have further doomed any chance for reelection. We don’t want them now and we didn’t want them then.

The one thing that this makes clear to me is that you better hold on because he will do more and more moronic things as his departure comes closer and I guarantee that he will issue a bunch of preemptive pardons a day or so before he’s gone.

I think most of you have seen video of pencil neck saying that the attack in New Orleans proves that Kash Patel cannot be confirmed for FBI DIRECTOR because we need the professional FBI folks. Now I’ve seen people comment on this but no one has pointed out the obvious that struck me as soon as I heard it.

The inbred midwit DEI morons in the FBI are there now and this happened under their watch. More of these uniparty morons is not what we need. It’s someone outside the swamp that’s willing to help drain it is what’s needed. Not more of the same and Kash is just the one to do it.

I’m watching some of the Golden Globes because I like Nikki Glaser and she is hosting tonight and her opening monologue was almost as good as a Ricky Gervais monologue and she only had one brief obtuse political comment. ( Don’t worry I always watch and record Levin which was excellent.)

The thing that struck me the most is that almost all the awards for TV shows are for things not on regular TV. Most of which I’ve never heard of. They are either on streaming services or at least one is on HBO which I could watch because I get HBO, but I haven’t. I don’t really understand where these people get the time to watch all this stuff and maintain a social media presence. Really ?

I don’t stream anything except recently due to a complete accident I have watched a couple of series. As I have previously mentioned I think, generally from 11 pm to 1 am or later, I watched music videos on YouTube covering a broad range of interests. However one night recently I clicked on the wrong link and was getting only kids stuff and that had happened previously and the only way to correct it would require me to get up and basically unplug the tv and then restart it.

But being lazy I noticed I could drop down and there were a plethora of options including free channels and one had Reacher. Now I have read every Lee Child’s Reacher book from the beginning until probably a year or so ago because I didn’t get my vacation last year because of medical issues and this year because of a hurricane. But I love the series and especially because he is the opposite of most of the main characters in the authors I follow. He is not rich! He hitchhikes or takes the bus. However, as opposed to Tom Cruise who played the character in two movies, he’s 6.5 feet tall and 250 pounds of sculpted muscles. Think Dolphin Lundgren. And I heard a couple years ago that they were starting a series based on the books with a person who actually represents the character. And so I watched it and it was very good and closely followed the first book. And I was able to watch the second season on Prime because they gave me a 30 free trial and then I noticed when I couldn’t get the third season that I could get Jack Ryan, the Tom Clancy main character and so I’m watching that series which I also enjoy. At some point I may have to purchase Amazon Prime, but I may already have it because they treat me as a prime member whenever I order something.

Anyway, the point of my ramblings is that regular TV is pretty much out of the picture now days. Although I still have several series I follow.

It’s sort of like when they have Disney night on Idol and I don’t recognize any of the songs.
