They need to double the protection for Trump up to and after the inauguration. I’m sure that you saw today that another Iranian assassination team was thwarted. I am very concerned that he is in grave danger and needs to avoid any public venues until after that. I’m not sure what would happen if they succeed because while the constitution says the VP becomes the P, there is nothing that I know of that says what happens in the transition period. I would think that JD would become the president elect but you can be certain that the left will litigate the hell out of it. I think we need to change Inauguration Day to at most a month after the election. In most countries it happens almost immediately.
