You know I am more confident in my conspiracy theory than ever today, and the reason is that it occurred to me today that Bragg is just doing what Pelosi did. She impeached Trump twice knowing that the senate would never convict. She didn’t care. What she wanted was to be able to say she impeached him. And that’s what he’s doing. He’s already getting all the kudos and will forever be a hero on the left.

And btw an indictment is just like an impeachment. It has no legal significance. It’s meaningless unless you can follow through with a conviction and she couldn’t and he can’t and knows it but in both cases they got what they wanted. All the idiots on the left wetting their pants with meaningless glee.

Now something I want to continue to harp on is the statute of limitations problem. It’s not something that can be tossed aside. If it’s five years and you bring the case in seven, it’s thrown out. There’s no discretion. We’ll have to wait to see what’s actually in the indictment but if it’s the same charges we’ve been hearing, a judge would have no choice but to throw the case out.

Today I heard Clay and Buck and Hannity and others saying that the judges in New York were Dem partisans and so would ignore statutory laws and let the case go to trial. I disagree. I have dealt with a lot of judges and administrative judges and the one thing they don’t want to be is reversed on appeal. Particularly if it is a clear statutory violation which would open them up to not only a reversal but potentially an opinion brutally criticizing them. They are not going to open themselves to that.

I wasn’t going to deal with this because I thought everyone knew, but apparently Tarlov was under a rock as usual. She said that Bragg wasn’t a Soros backed DA because they never even spoke. Here’s a link that will clear this nonsense up.

And now she just said all those moderate Republicans and independents who voted for Trump in 2016 and then defected to Magoo in 2020 weren’t going back to Trump. It really is a shame she’s as dumb as she is and HFJ needs to be back on full time. Trump got 3 or 4 million more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. Doesn’t look like a lot of defections.

In case you didn’t know, when you see that Trump will be arraigned before the New York Supreme Court understand that that is the lowest court in New York unlike most anywhere else. It is the equivalent of a district court in the federal system. It’s a trial court not an appellant court much less the top court in the state.

One of you asked me earlier if Trump could sue Bragg and I said if the case is thrown out. I believe if Bragg brought charges which were barred by the statute of limitations then he is subject to a suit for malicious prosecution and he would lose. However I still need to see how Bragg tries to get around the time limit.

How did the grand jury indict Trump if they were out for a month. The only way is that they did it before they were sent home last week and the rest of the nonsense is just theater.

You all know that Trump has apparently been indicted although it’s not official yet. I have only two comments. First Bragg got beat up so bad last week by the testimony put before the grand jury that his ego compelled him to bring the bogus case. And second I reiterate my previous conspiracy theory that he may well be doing it so he gets all the kudos and never has to prove it.

Now one thing I’m interested in seeing is how Bragg intends to get around the statute of limitations which everyone agrees expired two years ago. There are ways to toll it but they are generally because the guilty party hid his actions so those affected wouldn’t have the opportunity to sue or prosecute. That’s not the case here. This whole issue came up publicly before the 2016 election and so there is no way you can claim you didn’t know. So I wish that all legal pontificators would fully address this issue instead of just saying yes time expired but let’s talk about the charges.

Lastly, as I texted to one of you, you can count on Trump to put his mugshot on a coffee mug and sell it along with t-shirts and hats and everything thing else.

As I told you a couple years ago, from my legal training in Florida, Ron DS would have to resign as governor to run for any other office. The Florida Legislature passed a law allowing Crist to do it but they have not passed anything that would give Ronnie that pass. The current legislature session ends at the end of April. Let’s wait and see what they do. If they don’t give him a pass, I would be willing to bet he doesn’t have the balls to abandon the governorship to run a sure to fail presidential campaign.

At least one of you is adamant that Trump can’t win the general election and so shouldn’t win the primary. On the other hand , I am not sure that Ron DS is ready for prime time.

Now Trump has made some serious miscalculations including in his rally in Waco. He needs to focus on the future, which he is doing somewhat, and quit worrying about Ron DS. Although I must admit that it might be working. I have seen several articles recently that say Ron DS has already peaked in the polls and is going down. He doesn’t have the charisma of Trump and that could be a real problem.

I think that Trump really needs to focus on what he would do in a second term and forget about what happened in 2020. But on the other hand, I would have a hard time ignoring what’s coming out. It now appears that there were more FBI agents or informants in the Proud Boys than there were Proud Boys and Ray Epps was clearly at least an FBI informant if not an agent. And the Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled that the election was illegal under the state constitution and we still know that the vote in Georgia was a fraud and now the Supreme Court of Arizona has ruled in Kari Lakes favor that failure to match voter signatures was illegal. So I would be pissed that the election was stolen from me and not likely to take it quietly. But he needs to.

Trump needs to take a message from his supporters who were basically silent when he went after Ron DS. That’s not what you need. And I was really disappointed with him having Ted Nugent implying that Zelensky was gay and apparently Trump passed on some tweets suggesting that Ron DS was gay or a groomer. Listen I don’t care if any of it’s true and doubt that it is but the point is that gets him nothing. The far right or far right Christian block are already in his camp and the independents he needs in the general are most likely turned off. He needs to concentrate on the general and forget both the past and primary contenders. Stick to the message. If you want to attack Ron DS, then attack him on his lack of foreign policy experience. Question whether Putin or Xi would change anything because they were scared of Ronnie.

I agree that Trump needs to focus on the future and I still think the best thing would be for there to be a Trump- DS ticket would be unstoppable and for you who think that’s impossible, remember that JFK and LBJ became a ticket and they were anything but friends.

First I’m not dead but there has been little happening worthy of comment. I am planning on something about Trump mistakes but will wait until later tonight or maybe tomorrow after he spends an hour on Hannity tonight.

However I will once again say we need to stop nonstop coverage of school shootings. It only encourages copycats. If you don’t have any actual new information then continue normal broadcasting. And quit wasting my time or start doing 24/7 coverage of all the kids shot in Chicago.
