I’m pretty sure that most have seen or heard about Adam Shit’s proposed amendment to the defense authorization bill that would prevent republicans from getting access to DOD documents in their oversight authority once they take back the House. Gotta wonder what he’s trying to hide. The Dems know they have done many improper and potentially criminal things and they are scared that a Republican Congress will use their committees to investigate Shit and Pelosi and the whole gang which could ultimately destroy the Dems for a long time.

Now here’s one thought I had which I haven’t seen elsewhere. I don’t think that the Congress can constitutionally abolish its oversight responsibility. The constitution is built to provide a series of checks and balances between the three branches. I don’t think that Congress can cede it’s constitutional authority to the executive branch and I am pretty sure that the Supremes said as much in the EPA case last week.
