Am watching the Five and he just committed heresy. He said what I’ve said previously and that is that student loan debt should be like any other debt and be subject to filing for bankruptcy. Remember I have said that before and Magoo was a major force in carving out student loans from the last bankruptcy reform law to protect all the banks and credit card companies headquartered in Delaware. Reform them again and let student loan debt be subject to discharge in bankruptcy and see just how fast the problem will disappear. Loans will no longer be given out willy nilly and universities will no longer be able to raise tuition and fees at will because no one will be able to afford them!

BTW AOC and Tlaib will have to either pay their loans or try to declare bankruptcy in spite of being rich.

I would love to see universities be on the hook equally with the student.

First I learned that apparently Disney doesn’t have its own school system although they could by having all private schools. And I’m not sure that they have their own police force but they do have their own first responders. The site I got that from was maybe wrong on those two points but otherwise Disney got huge benefits from self governance. They didn’t need building permits and compliance with local or county building laws and Disney is in two counties which would be a nightmare for them. They can build whatever they want under their own rules.

Now the real reason for this rant is that I have seen that the real way to hurt Disney is to repeal something called the Sonny Bono copyright act or something. All of Disney’s copyright for its early stuff like Steamboat Willie and Snow White and much more were going to expire and make them public property for any and all and Disney spent a lot of money wining and dining Congress and contributing to their elections etc. they got Congress to extend their copyrights for many years. Congress passed it and Congress can repeal it and Disney would be kneecapped. Take back Congress and destroy this bs woke nonsense. The vast majority of Disney workers oppose what they are doing.

Ok Magoo said that you will save massive amounts of money by changing to solar panels and heat pumps. Now I don’t know if all of you are old enough to know but we have been using heat pumps powered by fossil fuels for decades.

If you don’t have gas heat you are using a heat pump and it’s electric and expensive!
