Ok, I’m sure many of you are wondering why I haven’t commented on the Musk potential takeover of Twitter. First I took securities in law school and have previously ranted about it in the context of insider trading but I’m not by any stretch of the imagination anything resembling an expert on corporate takeovers. So my perspective today is on how much I am enjoying the left melting down over the possibility that Twitter would actually be a free speech platform. Look at the idiot Max Boot lamenting that democracy needs more speech control to survive. Really isn’t that the opposite of what democracy requires? The open and free exchange of ideas is exactly what democracy requires and that scares the shit out of the left.

Now I will comment a little on reality of what’s going on from a legal perspective. First, the Twitter board owes a fiduciary obligation to maximize the value of Twitter stock and they have decided without a vote of the stockholders to reject an offer that would have made all of them more rich for woke reasons. They are committed to silencing free speech, read that as conservative speech, on their platform and probably to protecting their incredibly and unsupportively outrageous salaries. They know that if Musk takes over they are toast and so they are voting their interests and not those of the shareholders. And so they instituted the poison pill today to protect themselves and screw the shareholders. And the one thing I do know is that their actions will lead to many shareholders suing them. And btw I’m not going to explain the poison pill. Few if any of you reading this would know or care what that is. Suffice it to say it’s a way to make it impossible for Musk to buy Twitter.

Lastly, and in further proof of the Magoo administration politicalizing the DOJ and the SEC, they have decided to initiate an investigation into Musk and Tesla just to try to complicate any effort by Musk to actually allow free speech before the midterms. It’s purely political and just shows what you can expect from the socialist/fascists on the left.

I think he was a disaster as Governor and he should never get near another Republican elected seat anywhere. Don’t vote for this imposter. He will be another McCain or Romney or Murkowski. Some one we don’t need!

I was a little concerned when Trump endorsed Oz because he has been on the wrong side of many issues in the past and thought that maybe he was faking it to make it and then I remembered that the same could have been and was said about Trump. And today I read an article by Kurt Schlichter criticizing Trump for this but yesterday I read an article that I can’t remember who wrote and as usual I’m too lazy to look it up but it pointed out that the mainstream Republican candidate was a hedge fund manager or investment firm manager who is heavily invested in China. As I’m sure we’ve all learned over the past several years, I’ll take my chances with a potential flip flopper over a Chinese puppet.

Ok we now know the answer to TC’s question. Yes you can bus them from Texas to DC. And I hope De Santis follows through and ships them to Delaware. Apparently as long as they voluntarily board the bus it’s perfectly legal. I admit that I was surprised that Magoo et al didn’t try to stop them as the BOC threatened earlier in the week but then it occurred to me that maybe they finally understood the optics and the hypocrisy and decided to not make a spectacle of it. After all they were going to do it themselves, but not to DC, and this way Texas is paying for it instead of the Feds.

I know that I have previously ranted about this but it bears repeating. Economics is not a science. It is called the dismal science for a reason. It is not a science. If it were there would never be inflation or recessions or depressions because these‘scientists’ would know just what to do to fix everything. But they’re clueless and just make shit up. Yellen just says stupid shit. She is clueless about everything.

There should never be a Nobel prize for economics. It’s total crap. They like the global warming experts are just making it up. Beyond basic economics 101 with supply and demand curves and guns versus butter everything else is just made up. As you know I have an MBA and I stumped my economics professors on many occasions. For example, one professor was waxing eloquently about how if you increased wages for overtime work it would increase hours work and I said not necessarily. If my basic pay was enough to take care of all my needs then it would take significantly more money to get me to give up my free time and it confounded him because he assumed that his supply demand curve was sacrosanct.

I had another professor talking about how you could maximize profits by going to a slope of zero on the sine curve, and I’m not going to explain this here but as you know I also have an engineering degree, and I pointed out that it would also be the point of your lowest profits and he said that I shouldn’t be pointing out things that most econ students were clueless about because it would confuse them and cudos to any of you that followed that. My point is only that economics is not a science. Just like the global warming idiots it is people making up computer models that are nothing more than SWAG!

I have previously ranted about the ludicrousness of having algorithms in voting machines. It is simple counting and there is absolutely no need for any algorithm other than to change the actual votes . But now I want to know why Twitter has algorithms? If you have a platform that supposedly promotes free discourse why do you need an algorithm. Let people put up their thoughts and keep out of the way!

Btw I can understand algorithms on search engines but not on Twitter. There is absolutely no need other than to prevent something like child pornography.

Today I saw that a ten year old girl in I believe Canada was as part of her homework was required to talk to her father about his erections and his ejaculations. The elected official who brought it up was outraged and so were most of the elected officials. This is the absurdity of the left and needs to be highlighted so you understand their propaganda. What do they want? To increase incest?

Today Miranda Devine put up an article in the New York Post that was a a very painful play by play of the post event with Obama and Magoo. I read it and then one of you asked me if I had seen it and I had but in case you haven’t. Read it but be forewarned it is brutal.

He said he will take illegals which he can’t deport and put them on chartered buses to DC. Nothing would make me happier. One of you asked me if that will happen and I don’t know but I hope so. Just drive them up to the Capitol and turn them loose. I would love to see that happen and how this administration would bend over backwards to stop the buses. Even better, drive them to Rehoboth Beach Delaware, where Magoo has his beach house and just dump them off. It wouldn’t take ten minutes for Biden to fix his self caused border crisis. His neighbors would shun him.
