I have previously ranted about the ludicrousness of having algorithms in voting machines. It is simple counting and there is absolutely no need for any algorithm other than to change the actual votes . But now I want to know why Twitter has algorithms? If you have a platform that supposedly promotes free discourse why do you need an algorithm. Let people put up their thoughts and keep out of the way!

Any time there is an algorithm there is bias

BTW let’s go back to paper ballots counted by bipartisan individuals in public
