Have you noticed that crying chuck Schumer never speaks without reading from a prepared statement. He may be just a little behind Biden and Pelosi in his dementia. If you can’t speak off the cuff for two minutes then you shouldn’t be senate majority leader.

Hell I could speak off the cuff for half an hour or more and at least one of you have seen it. And I could still do it. It’s one of Trump’s great strengths.

This will probably surprise you but I think Juicy should be out of jail pending his appeal. Not because he’s innocent or because any competent court could overturn his conviction but because he would have served his full sentence before his appeal ever got decided! Just pick either dst or standard time. I don’t care which! But the bullshit needs to stop. There is no reason for it and I have seen reports from medical officials that standard time is more in tune with our circadian rhythm’s. Ok then pick that. I don’t care. As you know, I went to high school in Anchorage and having daylight savings time in the summer was ridiculous. The sun didn’t go down, and then it was really just twilight until two in the morning. I played golf before school. And in the winter I never went to school in the dark. In my last class the sunset at about 3:30. So pick one and stick with it!

I just saw an add for some weight loss pill that says it works with diet and exercise. Really? Don’t diet and exercise work by themselves?

It reminds me of a scam from back in the thirties when there was a drought when a guy was selling a pill to solve the problem. All you had to do was add water.

I have seen nothing on the drop in gas prices today. Is this only happening in NC? Listen it got up to $4.29 and today I saw one station at $3.85 and several below $4. I can’t believe that it’s not in the news and that Magoo and the BOC aren’t taking a victory lap.

To be fair, it’s difficult to fill up three hours everyday with new and thoughtful discourse. Rush didn’t do it! Sorry for all you ditto heads, but he frequently rehashed things he already covered or things I knew new previously. Could I do it? Maybe a decade ago, two decades ago certainly, but I don’t have the desire to put in the kind of effort it would take to do it. And that’s why I only comment when I have something I think might be an insight or knowledge that isn’t out there.

I haven’t seen anyone on the left or right discussing the drop in oil prices, although Clay and Buck did cover it today. The thing that struck me is that I am amazed at the lag in the news. Most things discussed on tv and the radio are things I knew two days before. I expect up to the minute discussion and get discussion of old news. Even Clay and Buck who did get it right today, frequently keep talking about yesterday’s news. I appreciate that it is difficult to plan and put on a three hour show, but that’s no excuse for having that show focused on news that two or three days old.

Unfortunately I filled up yesterday and if I had waited until today it would have been significantly cheaper. The price of a barrel of oil dropped from $130/barrel to $97/barrel and gas prices have dropped accordingly. I have been waiting for Biden to claim credit for it but haven’t seen it yet, but make no mistake by tomorrow he will be claiming the success of his feckless energy policies. He had absolutely no effect on what’s going on. The real reason is that China has locked down close to 100 million people to pursue its zero Covid agenda and closed down a significant part of its economy as a result. The end result is that the oil speculators feel that this will curtail the demand for oil because the Chinese will need significantly less due to their closing down a significant portion of their economy. This has absolutely nothing to do with anything Magoo did but you wait until tomorrow when they will claim success.

I was briefly watching Trey Gaudy who is also a swamp rat and Barr was saying that he knew that Trump lost and there was no reason to investigate because he got significantly fewer votes than republicans down ballot. First that should have triggered the opposite thought. Who votes for republicans down ballot and votes for Magoo? And how did Magoo get millions of votes more than Obama when he didn’t even campaign. But the thing that makes it clear that Barr is an idiot is the FACT that it has been shown many of the questionable votes only voted for the president and no one down ballot. That’s ridiculous on its face. I have switched channels but I bet Gaudy didn’t ask him about the special counsel in Wisconsin calling for the vote to be decertified due to massive fraud. Someone needs to call out this pompous ass for the swamp rat he is.
