I might have the term wrong but I am sure many of you have seen articles on the subject because many medical professionals and others have been saying all along that this is the metric that we should be looking at to determine if there is really a pandemic. So what is excess mortality? It is a comparison of how many people died in a given period of time compared to what was expected. As an example, and I’m making these numbers up so hold your fact checks, suppose every year the number of deaths from all causes in North Carolina between December and March averages 30,000 and in 2020 the number was 40,000 and so there were 10,000 excess deaths and so you could argue that Covid was creating a pandemic. On the other hand if there were 30,000 or less deaths, then you can’t claim that Covid is causing a pandemic. People who were going to die did.

PS. An interesting fact that seems counterintuitive. Using Bayesian statistics you can show that if you have 30 people in a room, it’s even money that two of them have the same birthday.

First it is now apparent that the FBI planned the supposed kidnapping of Gretchen Witmer. As laid out in the links below the FBI planned organized and funded the entire operation recruiting a few hapless idiots and pushing them to do it. It has been postulated that this was a test run for 1/6 and I believe that to be the case.

So once again the 1/6 debacle appears to have been planned and instigated by the FBI. And Pelosi definitely knew about it or she’s even dumber than she looks. Why else would she refuse the 10,000 national guard troops Trump offered? After all she knew that several hundred thousand supposed racist Trump supporters were going to be there. It makes sense only if it was designed to do just what happened. And why did the Capitol police open doors and escort protesters in? And why haven’t they caught the guy who planted the supposed pipe bombs? My guess is that he was an FBI operative trying to make the riot seem much more dangerous than it was.

Just learned on Tucker that China bought Smithfield pork , the largest pork producer in the world. I will no longer buy any Smithfield products.

I was just watching back Ingraham from last night and it turns out that the cast of Hamilton bs from yesterday was actually recorded in October of 2020. Just more fake news from the leftists.

Just in case you don’t know or haven’t followed it, Ted Cruz earlier this week said that terrorists attacked the Capitol on 1/6. Now that is blatant bs and Ted knows it but didn’t think he would get called out on it. Well several outlets did but none with the platform of Tucker Carlson who literally took him to the woodshed and destroyed his nonsense. So Ted asked to come on Tucker’s show last night in order to correct his supposed misstatement and Tucker was having none of it pointing out that Cruz is a very smart guy and was even considered a potential Supreme Court justice, even though Sotomayor continuously proves that intelligence is apparently not needed, and Cruz never haphazardly picks words. And Cruz really had no valid response.

So today Bongino played the clip and then said he thinks we should forget Cruz’ mistake because he is on our side most of the time although he also praised Tucker for holding his feet to the fire. Something rare these days particularly on conservative platforms dealing with ‘conservative’.

I’m not buying the Cruz apology for misspeaking. He didn’t! He knew exactly what he was doing! Listen Cruz doesn’t do anything accidentally. He thought he could sort of distance himself from the bs about the really mostly peaceful protest which really was and to potentially distance himself from Trump for a presidential run in 2024. He miscalculated that it would get the attention it got and never expected to be called out by Tucker.

Now I’ll delay until tomorrow my rant on 1/6, but will cover one egregious lie by Pelosi and other idiots. She had a list of people killed in the 1/6 riots. There were six of them and none of them died in the riots. The only actual person killed in the riots was Ashli Babbitt and she wasn’t on the list. Guess who was? Billy Evans the Capitol Hill police officer run over by a black nationalist and follower of the Nation of Islam a week or so after 1/6. Yeah you got that right. Pelosi is trying to portray a black nationalist criminal as inspired by Trump. She should be charged with a fake hate crime just like Juicy.

Have there ever been more incompetent speakers in an administration than Biden, Kamala Harris and Merrick Garland? They are collectively and individually just plain unwatchable. They are a disgrace. They need to go to Toastmasters! But then again these people think Obama was a great orator. You know my view on that bs.

He was on Bongino today and just now on Bolling discussing his decision to leave YouTube. Now I like Rand almost all the time but occasionally he just has dumb ideas and today was one of those times.

On Bolling when asked essentially if he supported repealing section 230, Bolling called it section 132 and he clearly misspoke because I looked it up and it has nothing to do with the subject at hand, Rand’s answer was mind boggling. Instead of doing away with immunity for libel, slander and defamation for big tech he wants to give that same protection to all media. Ponder the stupidity of that!

Remember as has been discussed here before, they already have essentially immunity from being sued unless you can show actual malice and in some cases reckless disregard of the truth. (BTW I think that the Supremes will be considering a case on the Sullivan doctrine this year and if I’m wrong about that, I know several justices want to revisit it. ). So why would you want to give these losers immunity. The Covington kid and Kyle Rittenhouse would be barred from their day in court. I’m sorry Senator Paul but that is just plain stupid and you should be ashamed!

Just to make my point, if Paul got his way, there would be no way to stop CNN or MSNBC from saying or writing that it’s well known that Trump or Paul or you or me are well known for fucking six year old girls and sheep. There would be no recourse.
