He was on Bongino today and just now on Bolling discussing his decision to leave YouTube. Now I like Rand almost all the time but occasionally he just has dumb ideas and today was one of those times.

On Bolling when asked essentially if he supported repealing section 230, Bolling called it section 132 and he clearly misspoke because I looked it up and it has nothing to do with the subject at hand, Rand’s answer was mind boggling. Instead of doing away with immunity for libel, slander and defamation for big tech he wants to give that same protection to all media. Ponder the stupidity of that!

Remember as has been discussed here before, they already have essentially immunity from being sued unless you can show actual malice and in some cases reckless disregard of the truth. (BTW I think that the Supremes will be considering a case on the Sullivan doctrine this year and if I’m wrong about that, I know several justices want to revisit it. ). So why would you want to give these losers immunity. The Covington kid and Kyle Rittenhouse would be barred from their day in court. I’m sorry Senator Paul but that is just plain stupid and you should be ashamed!

Just to make my point, if Paul got his way, there would be no way to stop CNN or MSNBC from saying or writing that it’s well known that Trump or Paul or you or me are well known for fucking six year old girls and sheep. There would be no recourse.
