There is a story now that a UCLA law professor has been disciplined because he wouldn’t grade black students more leniently than white students. Now that’s completely wrong. You should get the grade you earned regardless of race. However it reminded me of a visiting professor from Harvard at Florida who gave all the black students in his class no matter how poorly they did A’s. His bogus nonsense was that because they were black they deserved A’s because of slavery. The result is that people who were unqualified now practice law in Florida and the minority population is being served by unqualified people.

Totally agree. Why would you give away good grades to someone that didn’t earn it? Why would you feel guilt for something you are not responsible for? The slavery issue needs to be put to rest. Slavery is no more. My ancestors never owned slaves. America was not the only country that owned slaves. Blacks need to be encouraged to work for what they want and not look to the government for handouts. They are not victims anymore, but the dems keep portraying them as such, creating a divided nation.
