I meant to write this yesterday but you know how lazy I am. The reason I wanted to do it yesterday was because Monday night Sean Hannity and Greg Jarrett were incredibly ignorant in their evaluation of day one of the trial. I expect that from Hannity but not Jarrett. They both basically said a trial was not necessary because the video was all you needed to see that Chauvin murdered Floyd. They made no mention of the video of what happened before the video they think is definitive or the M.E. autopsy in which he found that Floyd did not die from asphyxiation but from heart failure.

They seem to think that they can tell from the video what happened but they can’t. As the defense put out in their opening statement, there was no bruising or trauma externally or internally on Floyd’s neck. So all the pontificating about how excessive Chauvin’s actions were are not borne out by the evidence. Now don’t misunderstand, I am not a Chauvin fan. I think he should have stopped sooner but that doesn’t mean he murdered him.

Now I’m also sick of hearing Hannity always talking about his brown belt in MMA and how that makes him an expert on what happened. No it doesn’t! He has exactly zero knowledge of what actually happened. He can’t tell with any degree of certainty exactly how much pressure was asserted or on what exact part of the neck it was on. As I said whatever it was was insufficient to cause bruising or trauma externally or internally to Floyd’s neck. And to put this in my perspective, as a couple of you know I have a brown belt in karate and turned down the black belt which was going to be awarded because it was expected that anyone who got the black belt would open a dojo and I was just starting out my law career and didn’t have the time so I respectfully declined. (As an aside because you would never know it now, if you remember the movie Billy Jack, Tom Laughlin, my favorite scene takes place in the little park in the middle of the town where the bad guy shows up with a bunch of thugs to take Billy Jack down and Billy says you see this foot? Well I’m going to hit you on this side of your face and there’s nothing you can do to stop me and then he does it. 40+ years ago I could do that. Now I couldn’t kick myself in my ass.)

Now I’m really disappointed with Jarrett because he is a lawyer and should know better than to jump to conclusions based on emotions, which he basically said he was doing. The video is very gut wrenching and emotional but that doesn’t prove anything. It elicits a visceral response.

Now I also want to say that the judge is biased. He turned down a motion for a change of venue and denied pretrial motions to exclude prejudicial and irrelevant testimony. All we’ve heard other than the video over the first few days is repetitive testimony from bystanders about what they felt watching it go down. What they thought or felt is totally irrelevant. And it’s highly prejudicial because it has no real purpose other than to inflame the jury.

The last thing I want to discuss is something I learned yesterday and that is that the prosecution is going to be calling several ‘experts’ to contradict the M.E.’s conclusions. And don’t be surprised if at some point someone claims he’s a racist. My problem is that I don’t understand how a prosecutor can shop for some hired gun to come out with the answer he wants. The County M.E. Is just that and the question one has to ask is that if the prosecutor undermines him here doesn’t that open up motions and appeals for everyone else who was convicted on the testimony of that M.E.?

I hope that you saw this farce but if not CNN published an article in which they said it is impossible to assign a gender to children at birth. I have three kids and was there to witness each birth and I guarantee you that I had no problem telling which were boys and which was my daughter! Such airheads!

Today was the first day of his trial and he doesn’t stand a chance. Not because he is guilty but because just like Chief Justice Roberts ducked the Texas case on unconstitutional changes to election laws because he was concerned about the riots the judge and the jury know that anything less than a guilty verdict will result in the torching of Minneapolis and many other cities.

It’s clearly going to be a case of mob rule. And he won’t get anything approximating a fair trial. This is unfortunately the state of justice in our country now that the left has taken to allowing anarchy as long as it supports their unquenchable thirst for power.

Now for the actual facts of the case. First I didn’t like Chauvin’s attitude when he was kneeling on Floyd’s neck but that is irrelevant to the charges. The autopsy report said that Floyd didn’t die of asphyxiation so the knee on his neck wasn’t the cause of death. Rather, Floyd died from heart failure. Three out of his four heart arteries were blocked including one at 90%. He had heart disease and diabetes and according to the autopsy he had almost four times the amount of fentanyl in his system that would lead a medical examiner to conclude he died from an overdose. (As an aside he also tested positive for Covid and under the Fauci/Birx guidelines, he died from the whu flu. )

Also, the jury will be shown a video of what occurred before the one that is played by the msm in which Floyd resists arrest, fights with police and says he can’t breathe. They will also be shown a police department training video showing that he did what he was trained to do.

And lastly, Minneapolis settled a wrongful death suit by giving $27 million to Floyd’s family before the start of the trial thereby hopelessly prejudicing the trial. He’s toast and I don’t really see how he can get out of it. He would have to get into federal court and ultimately to the supremes and Roberts has already proven to be a spineless coward.

Hopefully you are aware of this by now but just in case you don’t know how full of crap Biden was about the filibuster yesterday. Remember that he talked about the filibuster, he said something like there were 50 something filibusters between 1917 and 1970 and more than five times that number last year. Actually from what I’ve seen it’s more like seven times as high. But guess what folks, the republicans controlled the senate then and so the Dems were the ones using the Jim Crow filibuster. Actually when you think about it, that makes sense since the Dems were the party of Jim Crow and slavery and segregation and the KKK.

What’s annoying to me is that few have pointed out the hypocrisy!

I watched the supposed press conference today and it was anything but a real press conference. Biden had a list of people to call on and the order to do it. Unless I missed it, he didn’t call on Peter Doocy or any other representative of a even mildly conservative outlet.

I’m not saying that he had the questions beforehand, but he knew pretty well what was going to be asked because he read many answers off of cards. And he lied continuously blaming Trump for the surge at the border and even though a couple of ‘reporters’ pushed back, it was clear that it was a setup because he read off cards again in response. He got nothing but softballs and even stumbled on them. He was slow and seemed tired.

And he dodged the few questions he got that should have been easy to answer. He couldn’t commit to getting our troops out of Afghanistan because of logistics. I believe we have something like 5000 troops left there and Trump committed to having them out by May 1. If Joe’s military can’t evacuate 5000 troops and equipment in 6 weeks then there is a big problem.

He also couldn’t commit to when there would be the promised transparency at the border. What became clear is that they will allow media into the border detention centers after they have transferred all the excess kids to some other hellhole.

Lastly, the thing that struck me was that participation in a presidential press conference used to be by seasoned, veteran reporters. Today they all appeared to be wet behind the ears twenty somethings. It’s embarrassing. Maybe they couldn’t get seasoned reporters to participate in the charade.

Today Rand Paul took media whore, science free, Fauci to the woodshed for his ridiculous nonsense that even if you’ve had the flu or been vaccinated you still need to wear two masks. Rand said Fauci was guilty of theater not science. Paul cited several studies indicating that there is no reason to wear a mask if you have either had COVID or been vaccinated, and the weasel kept trying to claim that we had to be careful because of potential variants in the virus and Paul, who is a physician, was having none of it and kept pressing Fauci for a single study supporting his bullshit and Fauci eventually had to admit there are none.

Now this should come as no surprise to you since I ranted almost a year ago about Dr. Birx saying there was no data to support their position but they were doing it anyway. And as far as I know, I am still the only person who caught it and reported on it.

I have been waiting ever since Rush died to see who would fill his time slot on conservative talk radio. Apparently it won’t be anyone on the EIB because they apparently intend to continue Rush’s show by having a guest host talk about something in the news and then find an old clip of Rush which they claim shows he was prescient. After more than thirty years on air you can always find something that is on the same subject but what it leaves is listeners being short changed. At least half the program is Rush’s golden oldies and not real time discourse which is all I’m interested in. Hell you could probably go back over my five years of rants and pull up something that would appear prescient on about anything going on. I predict that the format they are following will end up degrading the franchise to the point of irrelevance.

The reason for this rant is that today I saw that Dan Bongino is going to have a program on Westwood One filing the 12 to 3 time slot and I will guarantee you I will listen to it and forget about the EIB.

I am sure others will follow with programs in his old time slot that they didn’t dare invade before because of his dominance.

Hooray! The EIB has to find a suitable replacement or fall by the wayside. You can’t surf on Rush’s oldies forever. It just won’t work and they will find that out when new programs fill the void.

Remember when I said a couple weeks ago that states and Canadian government bodies need to sue Biden for canceling the keystone pipeline without complying with the Administrative Procedures Act and today a significant number of states have said they will file a lawsuit alleging just that. About time!

I am watching Steve Hilton and the question that comes to mind and that no one is asking is why we are providing funding to the Wuhan lab? China has a massive economy and so why are we funding anything for them? What are we getting for it other than a world wide pandemic? I have to believe that much of the swamp is China puppets.

I am sure you are familiar with the video that gets put up repeatedly of illegals climbing over a wall which juts out into the ocean. I assume that like me every time you see it you wonder why no one is swimming around it. It’s not that far out into the ocean and even in my diminished physical capacity, I could still swim around it. I was a lifeguard once upon a time but haven’t swum a stroke in years but I’m sure I could still do it. So my question is are Hispanics unable to swim? Why climb a wall when an at most 5 minute swim would get you where you want to go safely?
