Apparently the NYT reported today that Trump paid $750 in federal income tax in the year he was elected and no income tax since then. Do any of you remember Harry Reid making a similar false claim about Mitt Romney and then bragging when it was proven to be a lie that it worked and he didn’t get elected?

Amy Coney Barrett is apparently Trump’s choice for the Supremes and I have to admit that I was probably wrong with preferring Lagoa. Having reviewed more stuff I now believe that Trump made the right choice. I know that Lagoa would be an easier confirmation and might help Trump in Florida, but she has a much lighter record to go on and could turn out to be another Roberts who couldn’t be counted on to stick to an originalist view of the constitution. He’s got the votes and he is right to pick the nominee who can be counted on.

Many of you know that Rush stole my insights to pretend he had insights he didn’t. And also let me say that his bs that he is right 99.9% of the time is total crap. He is right maybe between 85 and 90% of the time. In fact an awful lot of what Rush says on his program is stuff that I read and was reported earlier that day and sometimes a couple of days ago. I don’t listen to a all of his ranting, and I only hear a portion of his program each week and he is wrong much more than he pretends to be.

I also find his fake accents to be particularly annoying. Particularly his fake southern accent. Leghorn Foghorn is not what we sound like. I once in a trial had a witness say that someone said something in a fake southern accent and I asked what that sounded like and it got laughs because I obviously did and he had no clue.

Now let’s get down to the issue at hand. Several days ago I called out Rush for his position that the senate should just go to a vote and skip the hearings. I believe that the hearing will expose the Dems for the fraud they are and force them to attack a woman and maybe a woman of color. And I said that it would be harder for the squishy Republican senators like Collins and Murkowski and Romney to vote against an actual woman and not the process. Now that’s proven true as Romney and Murkowski have said they will consider the nominee. Collins has not done that because the political sense in Maine is weird.

Rush continues to believe he is god and got it right but he never considered the effect of not having a hearing. Who knows how Republicans and Democrats would vote if there was no hearings. It is quite possible that the Collins and Romney and Murkowski and maybe other Republicans would vote no under those circumstances without a hearing. Today after continuing his bs about a direct vote without a hearing, which apparently most of his followers disagree with, he finally mentioned that people are questioning whether or not the Republicans have the votes without a hearing he said they have the votes. He’s totally making it up as he goes. He has absolutely no evidence that the Republicans have the votes without a hearing. Rush is an egomaniac who loves the sound of his own voice.

Now to be fair, as I have been saying even before Rush, I don’t believe that Biden will actually show up for the debate on Tuesday. And today Rush took an arrow out of Biden’s quiver by saying that Biden will claim that someone close to him has tested positive for whu-flu and so he has to quarantine and skip the debate. I give credit where credit is due.

I had dinner with one of you and used this line with respect to Juan Williams on the Five and decided that you all needed to appreciate it. Ok here goes.

If they gave Juan an enema his remains would fit in a shoebox. Figure it out.

I don’t know if you saw this but apparently Nadler shit himself yesterday on tv. That’s what happens when all your leaders are senile. There will be other rants tonight but this is too good to pass up.

Sleepy Joe said he would release his list of Supreme Court potential nominees but now refuses. I heard today that one reason is because that close to the top of his list is Stacie Abrams, the rotund black woman from Georgia who still claims she won the governorship of Georgia. She is uniquely unqualified for the Supreme Court and would cost Biden many votes if he fessed up that he was going to nominate her.

First let me say by all accounts RBG was a brilliant woman who accomplished much in her life and fought hard against cancer for two decades. However I don’t consider her a brilliant jurist. She was a left wing radical who paid no attention to the constitution if it stood in the way of an outcome she espoused.

Next, her supposed death bed wish, was necessitated by her selfish and egotistical refusal to retire when Obama could have replaced her with a much younger and healthier version of herself. However, she refused because she had become a celebrity and a cult figure — the notorious RBG. She was championed on SNL and she began giving partisan political speeches not becoming of a sitting Supreme Court Justice. She loved the attention and adoration too much to step down and so bet on Hillary and lost.. Now she supposedly wants us to correct her lost gamble. Too bad, you gambled and lost and have no one but your ego to blame.

Now I’m not going to go into all the he said she said nonsense about Merrick Garland. It’s not the same situation and even if it was, elections have consequences as Obama condescendingly stated. We elected Trump and a senate majority in 2016 in large part because we wanted to see a Supreme Court that believed the constitution means what it says and if you don’t like it then amend it as had been done 27 times. In 2018 we increased the Republican majority in senate in large part due to the Dems disgusting spectacle in the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings.

Trump needs to nominate a Justice and the senate needs to confirm her before the election because the election may well come down to a Supreme Court decision and a 4 – 4 split is worthless. BTW I am amused by the fact that everyone including me sees Roberts as a liberal vote. He’s a gutless coward that’s a disgrace to all Chief Justices.

Before I get into the RINO posturing of Collins and Murkowski and maybe Romney, I want to talk about all the threats from the left. They’re going to burn down more stuff. Go ahead, your present criminality is costing you votes and making it worse will cost you more. Hopefully it will cost you the House.

With respect to their threats to abolish the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court and make Puerto Rico and DC states, that’s nothing new. They have been threatening that forever and if they win control of the White House and both branches of congress they will do it regardless of whether Trump nominates someone. Given that I believe that Trump will win in a landslide, these are idle threats because even if they maintain control of the House and gain control of the Senate, Trump will veto all their crap.

But that brings me to another reason why it’s imperative to nominate and approve someone before the election. It is possible that the Dems regain control of the Senate and that would mean no Trump nominees would ever get approved.

Now for a reality check on the RINO’s. It’s one thing to say there shouldn’t be a nomination until after the election, but it’s an entirely different thing to vote against an imminently qualified woman because you object to the timing. I don’t think Collins or Murkowski have the guts to vote against a qualified woman which is why they are trying unsuccessfully to prevent being put to the test. Similarly, Mitt, I’ve got binders full of women, Romney is a eunuch who doesn’t have the balls to vote no.

One last point, while I was enjoying a lunch of grouper imperial at an oceanfront table and watching the waves caused by hurricane teddy crashing, I was listening to Rush and disagree with his idea that Trump should nominate and then McConnell should immediately call for a vote on the floor and bypass the judiciary committee. I believe that when Trump announces his pick later this week, McConnell and Lindsey Graham should announce a two day judiciary committee hearing for the second week in October. The reason is twofold. First it will give the Dems another opportunity to embarrass themselves trying to take down a woman, and particularly Kamala who will embarrass her ticket. ( As an aside can you imagine Kamala asking the nominee if she got her job the same way Kamala did?).

The second reason is that it would eliminate the RINO’s excuse that they didn’t get to question her. Importantly all the top candidates have undergone Senate hearings in the last couple of years and so there really is no reason for long dragged out witch-hunt.

Lastly, I would like for Trump to tell Amy Coney Barrett that he will nominate her for the next vacancy but nominate Barbara Lagoa, a native of Miami and of Cuban descent. Let’s see the left go after a woman of color and the nomination would almost certainly guarantee Trump Florida.

I just saw that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died. I respect her legacy and disagree with her opinions and philosophy. But now buckle up for an all out war by the left to try to stop Trump from appointing another Supreme Court justice.

Hopefully McConnell will fast track Trump’s nomination but you can expect the left to pull out every dirty trick in their arsenal to try to stop it.

PS. The big difference in my mind between now and 2016 is that Obama was a lame duck and should not get to put another Justice on the court. Trump is not a lame duck.

In case you didn’t see it, De VOS who is the Secretary of the Department of Education just pulled a brilliant move. A week or so ago the president of Princeton pandering to the woke mob said that he and his university were systematically racist and had been for decades.

Now Princeton has been receiving federal funds for all those decades and so the DOE notified them that they were initiating an investigation into this discrimination because Princeton has had to certify that they are in compliance with federal civil rights laws and if they are not then they will get no further federal funds and will be required to pay back all the funds they fraudulently obtained. They’re a couple of other points but this one is sufficient.

You know that suck up woke asshole has his own asshole seriously clinched. And three cheers for Betsy. If you want to pander and thus admit you broke the law, then there needs to be consequences!
