As I indicated previously, the people in this country are becoming more and more restless as facts indicate that all the doom and gloom projections are totally wrong.

It started in earnest Friday night when Tucker Carlson, whom I previously called out as closet never Trumper when he went all in on this virus as the end of the world. In his opening monologue he called out the stupidity of allowing Fauci, the media whore, to determine the economy of this country. He rightly pointed out that Fauci as a doctor is only concerned with making sure no one dies from the virus even if that means destroying our economy and creating many deaths from suicide and drugs or alcohol. And Fauci has no stake in the economy. He is not out of work and won’t be because he’s a government employee. He’s not a cook or waitress or employee of a small business. He has no stake in the economy.

Just to be honest, I don’t either. I have a federal pension and social security which is not affected by this. But my kids are affected by this unconstitutional shutdown. And I don’t believe it is legal. As I predicted, the ACLU has filed a lawsuit in Puerto Rico claiming that the curfew is unconstitutional. Many more lawsuits will be coming and the cost may well dwarf the costs of the relief packages from Congress.

So to get back to the subject, every day I read more and more articles pointing out that the cure can’t be worse than the disease and we need to reopen the economy.

Lastly, we need to keep in mind that we are doing this to ourselves or being forced to do this with blinders on. So far 10,000 people have died from the Wuhan flu. This year up to 63,000 people have died from the common flu. Even if over the next week, which is supposed to be the peak, we lost 14,000 people, we would still be way below the common flu. Why don’t we just shut the country every year? Why don’t we close schools entirely or only allow classes from June to September?

The answer is easy. We accept the flu as a part of life. The people who want to take down Trump, are counting on convincing you that this virus was Armageddon and somehow Trump’s fault. Demand that our economy be reopened and count on us to behave responsibly as most of always do!
