There now seems to be an effort to force the vote to acquit Trump until after the state of the union address on Tuesday so the left can talk about it as a president under impeachment making invalid statements. I reiterate my earlier rant. If the Dems succeed in this ploy, Trump should send a written state of union statement to congress and then hold a giant rally that night to tell the Dems fuck you!

I saw yesterday that a state representative in Utah introduced a bill that would allow a person elected to a statewide position or a federal position to be subject to a recall vote if they could get 25% of registered voters to sign the petition. It couldn’t be done in the first or last year of that person’s term. There is no doubt that even Utah is tired of this asshole, Romney, not doing what they elected him to do. Instead he wants to be the next McCain. A backstabbing lowlife who is only concerned with self promotion.

I ranted earlier today about Pelosi claiming that Trump wouldn’t be acquitted if there wasn’t new witnesses. The purpose of this rant is that I just SAW the Pelosi interview. My question to all you may have seen it is is she wearing her couch cover? It certainly wouldn’t be covered by dress for success.

Listen this guy is a disaster. Like Obama he only cares about his legacy. He made up and rewrote Obamacare to save it from being declared unconstitutional as it should have been. He objected to Trump’s characterization of the judiciary as being biased based on which party appointed them. No statement has ever been more true. Obama appointed judges who hold the view that the constitution is a living document and can invent rights at will that are no where in the constitution and that the founders would be abhorred by. Trump has appointed judges that believe the constitution means what it says and if you want to change it then amend it.

Now he has twice refused to let Senator Rand Paul ask a question about the whistleblower. He has no authority to do that other than I say so. As I have previously stated, there is no statute that covers this gossip. There is no provision in the inapplicable statute that protects him from being named. Also as previously noted, federal whistleblower statutes don’t provide for anonymity. Your identity is known and you are protected from retaliation. Roberts is way out of line and still trying to kowtow to the left in the bogus hope that he will be viewed favorably by history. If there is one thing that the right, and supposed right — are you listening Romney— need to understand is that the left will only like you when and as long as you are a useful idiot.

Now the reason for this rant. I assume most of you don’t know that the Chief Justice serves at the pleasure of the president. That’s right! Trump could remove him as Chief Justice — he would still be a Justice but not the Chief Justice — and could replace him with Neil Gorsuch. This would require confirmation by the senate. Therefore, I would suggest that if Trump is re-elected, as he will be, and Republicans keep their majority in the senate, he should replace Roberts with Gorsuch. With any luck, if Gorsuch was confirmed, Roberts would resign and give Trump the opportunity to appoint another real originalist. And then when RBG has to resign or becomes incapacitated during his second term, he could put in place a court that would protect the constitution for a generation or two.

Additionally, Justice Clarence Thomas may well decide to resign in a second Trump term. He’s getting old and may like Justice Kennedy want to resign when he knows Trump will appoint someone with similar views.

PS. The above was always my understanding and I remember it coming up in the past. However, it’s apparently an open question. Also as one reader suggested, it wouldn’t be worth the political fallout that would ensue. My anger got the best of me.

I am writing this rant because I heard Pelosi say that Trump won’t be acquitted if the senate doesn’t call witnesses because you can only be acquitted after a trial and you can’t have a trial if you don’t call witnesses. She just continues to show her ignorance.

First you can have a trial without witnesses. The parties could agree to a stipulated set of facts and make arguments based on the stipulation. I won’t bore with all the possible ways.

Second there were 17 witnesses in this case and their testimony is in the record. There are actually 18 if you count the deposition of the ICIG which undoubtedly exposed the corruption between Schiff and the whistleblower and so he has kept it locked away.

So Nervous Nancy is just continuing the only plan they ever had, namely that we’ve impeached him forever no matter what happens.

The other thing I want to mention is the waste of time that is the Q&A nonsense taking place in the senate today. It is orchestrated kabuki theatre and I have pretty much tuned it out because Schiff is on way too much.

Just in case you didn’t know, Don Lemon doesn’t have a real degree. His degree is in broadcast journalism. Seriously, this asshole thinks this makes him elite. Really!! It means he really doesn’t know anything.

Next the Dems have made clear that they hate Trump because he had the audacity to defeat their chosen queen. That’s the Chardonnay infused, unable to walk, totally corrupt Hillary. She is the epitome of the swamp and he wants to destroy the entitled political class and the swamp rats in the government.

Moreover, he is doing it and they can’t stand it and know they can’t beat him at the ballot box. So they continue to to put forth their nonsense that if he didn’t follow the swamp’s view of what our foreign policy should be than he necessarily needs to go. I have said this many times and so had Trump’s team. The president is the sole authority under the constitution of our foreign policy. The Vindmans of the world can either get on board or get the hell out. They don’t set foreign policy in spite of believing that they are smarter than the president and the rest of us rubes. Yeah Don Lemon I am talking about your ignorant ass. I would bet that Trump supporters are at least as educated and sophisticated as your ignorant ass. I know I am.

Next, I don’t believe that witnesses will be called. Today Corey Gardner of Colorado said he doesn’t see the need for witnesses since the House didn’t call them in their rush to make sure Trump has been impeached forever. I personally agree with Dershowitz that that is not true. If you are indicted and then win, you are not indicted forever. You are innocent. With Gardner on the side on the side of no witnesses at best for the Dems the vote will be 50-50. Based on past performance I don’t think Chief Justice Roberts has the balls to break the tie and that would mean no witnesses and this bullshit can end this week.

Lastly I don’t think that the Dems really want witnesses. Bolton will be destroyed on cross examination and the last thing they want is for the corruption between Schiff and the whistleblower to be exposed along with the Bidens corruption.

As you may recall, a couple of months ago I questioned whether or not Fox News was holding back their folks from asking Dems hard questions because they were denied the right to hold any Dems debates. It was in response to Hannity’s poor showing in his interview of Bill DeBlasio. I still think Hannity blew it and stay in his lane because he’s not good outside it. However I read the article embedded below and I have to agree that Fox is moving intentionally left. Please read.

I am amazed at how the question and answer part of the senate trial is happening. I thought the Dems would be grilling the president’s team and that the republicans would be questioning Schiff et al.

So apparently each side is just trying to replay their talking points in five minute intervals.

I wasn’t going to comment on this but I have seen it too many times to give it a pass. What is with Joe turning up his collar on his suit coat? Is this supposed to demonstrate that he’s cool? It doesn’t.

Listen I grew up as lower middle class or upper lower class and basically had no sartorial knowledge. I was first generation educated in my family. I had no idea of how to properly dress in the world I entered when I became a lawyer. I know most of you might still believe that because you never knew me back in the day. I wore and still have many three piece suits, most of which don’t fit anymore. I had to teach my father how to tie a Windsor knot. He never got it so he just always just opened his tie after I had tied it for him and then hung it up with his one suit in the closet.

I found a book entitled Dress for Success and I would commend it to any of you still in the suit wearing workforce. It was based on actual social experiments to determine what actually worked in the upper class world.

No where in that book was there any suggestion that trying to look like Fonzi was a good idea. Give it up Joe. You’re not cool. You just look stupid. Construction workers don’t think you’re cool either.
